Riverside, Calif. — Riverside Community Hospital today announced the appointment of Citlalli Rojas as chairwoman of the Board of Trustees.
Rojas serves as Managing Partner of the Inland Empire General Office of New York Life Insurance Company, where she leads one of the region’s most dynamic financial services organizations. A first-generation Latina leader, she has built her career around empowering individuals, families, and professionals to achieve personal and financial growth.
Born and raised in Mexico, Rojas moved to the United States at age eighteen to pursue her education and pursue the American dream. She earned her degree in Business Administration and Finance in just three years and began her career in financial services during the 2008 recession. Through resilience and determination, she rose from Agent to Partner, Senior Partner, and ultimately Managing Partner in 2016.
Rojas has been a passionate advocate for expanding access and opportunity, particularly within the Latino community. She is deeply committed to mentorship, leadership development and building diverse teams that reflect the communities they serve. She also shares a personal connection to Riverside Community Hospital, where both of her daughters were born.
“I am honored and excited to serve as Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees for Riverside Community Hospital,” said Rojas. “This hospital holds a very special place in my heart — it is where both of my daughters were born. Our hospital plays a vital role in caring for one of the most diverse and vibrant communities in California. I am deeply committed to ensuring that every family — regardless of background — has access to high-quality, compassionate care.”
Peter Hemstead, chief executive officer of Riverside Community Hospital, added, “We are thrilled to welcome Citlalli as Chairwoman of our Board of Trustees. She is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of strategic growth, operational excellence and community engagement. Her deep roots in our community and personal connection to our hospital make her uniquely suited to guide our board during this important time.”
As Chairwoman, Rojas brings strategic leadership experience, a strong commitment to service, and a personal investment in the hospital’s continued excellence and growth.
