Training opportunities
With an emphasis on mentorship and networking, our GME programs aim to shape the next generation of healthcare leaders. We offer residency and fellowship opportunities in a number of specialties, including emergency medicine, radiology and neurology.
Nurse residency program
We are committed to providing nursing students with a rigorous, hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art facilities. Our year-long, paid nurse residency program is available for nursing students intending to graduate within six months or graduate nursing students with six months or less of experience.
Pharmacy residency program
Our leading-edge pharmacy residency program is designed to help pharmacy students meet national accreditation standards. This program can be adapted to the unique needs and goals of each resident.
Transferring someone to our hospital
Our facility features the latest in telecommunications technology and is staffed by nurses with backgrounds in emergency and critical care.
You make one call, and we take it from there. Our team is available 24/7 and will handle every step of the transfer or admission. We can:
- Assist in securing transportation
- Confirm bed availability, obtain hospital approval and notify receiving departments
- Connect sending and accepting physicians by a recorded physician-to-physician call
- Locate the accepting physician
- Obtain and document all necessary medical records
- Provide immediate feedback to close the loop with all referring physicians and facilities
- Track transfer from time of call to arrival to our hospital
