Riverside, Calif. — Riverside Community Hospital, an affiliate of HCA Healthcare, today announced the appointment of Drew Hartmann as chief financial officer effective June 1, 2026.
Hartmann brings more than a decade of healthcare finance experience within HCA Healthcare. In his new role, he will oversee the hospital’s financial operations and partner closely with hospital and division leadership to support continued growth, strategic investments and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Most recently, Hartmann served as chief financial officer at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, where he led enterprise operations across finance, information technology, revenue cycle, case management, health information management and supply chain for the 454-bed Level II trauma center and its network of freestanding emergency rooms. During his tenure, he oversaw a capital portfolio exceeding $400 million and helped drive significant operational and financial improvements.

Prior to Memorial Hospital, Hartmann served as CFO at HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital in Kissimmee, Florida, where he led major capital expansion initiatives, advanced operational efficiencies and exceeded key financial performance targets. He also held leadership roles at Trident Health in Charleston, South Carolina, and HCA Physician Services Group.
Throughout his career, Hartmann has demonstrated a passion for operational excellence, physician partnership and employee engagement. He has also served in interim executive leadership positions, including interim CEO, Chief Staffing Officer and Ethics & Compliance Officer.
Hartmann earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting, economics and finance from the University of Kentucky and completed HCA Healthcare’s Executive Development Program.
