Riverside Community Hospital host 4th Bi-Annual NICU Reunion

Riverside, CA—October 12, 2011--The sound of laughter filled the air this past Saturday, as more than 1,200 guest including NICU graduates and their families, attended Riverside Community Hospital’s 4th bi-annual NICU Reunion. Past patients had the opportunity to be reunited with the staff and physicians who cared for them while in Riverside Community Hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit.

California Hospitals Launch Statewide Patient Safety Campaign

Through focused hospital-based initiatives and regional and statewide patient safety collaboratives, hospitals are leading the way into a new era in patient safety. To showcase these efforts, the California Hospital Association (CHA) today launched a statewide patient safety awareness campaign.

A Riverside to New York living-donor transplant chain results in twelve kidney transplants, saving the lives of 10 -12 transplant recipients

The lives of ten to twelve kidney transplant patients across the country were transformed as a result of Riverside Community Hospital’s first living-donor kidney transplant chain, which began due to the generosity of Richard Ruzzamenti, a non-directed, altruistic kidney donor from Riverside.
